“Mom,” Peggy the piggy whined. “I need those red rain boots!” Peggy had wanted red rain boots for a week now and her mom kept saying, “Peggy you do not need those red boots, it never rains here!” “But mom nobody has these boots; they are one of a kind: rare, special, cool and they are red!” Peggy cried.
“Honey, if I get them for you do you promise to not complain about anything else?” the mother pleaded. “OH YES MOM YES YES YES!” Peggy exclaimed. “You still can’t have them,” the mother pig said. So little Peggy the piggy kept whining and whining.
She asked her dad but the only thing he said was, “No, it never rains here you can’t get those rain boots.” She asked her grandparents but they said, “Listen to your parents they’re right, no rain boots for you, besides IT NEVER RAINS HERE!” Peggy asked and asked and every time she asked they said no. Finally, for Peggy’s birthday she got rain boots. Then the next day it rained.
